Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world. Facilities were upgraded to include a new 1.2 million-sq. ft. Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal. This addition connects to the existing international terminal and concourse, creating a leading edge, 40-gate international air travel complex complete with a car rental facility, 1,300-space parking garage, modern amenities, and an extension of the underground connector tunnel to the new terminal and concourse.
